What Is pH?
pH measures acidity or alkalinity on a scale of 0-14. 7 is neutral. Below 7 is acidic, above 7 is alkaline. Your skin's natural pH is around 5.5 — slightly acidic. This 'acid mantle' protects against bacteria and moisture loss.
Why a Slightly Acidic pH Matters
